Who is responsible

This site (www.quersen.com) is operated by Grupo Cuántico Transpacífico, which uses the trade name Quersen. Its address is Centro Corporativo Plaza Roble, Edificio 5, San Rafael de Escazú, 10203, Costa Rica. For any privacy matter, write to info@quersen.com.

What this covers

This policy covers only this public site. Quersen’s application (app.quersen.com), which the “Sign in” link leads to, handles other data —that of the customers who use it— and is not covered by this policy.

What data is received and how

What you send

The site has no forms and no accounts. The “Request a demo” and “Contact” buttons open your email program with a message addressed to info@quersen.com, with a suggested subject and text (company, role and what you would like to see) that you can change or delete. Quersen receives only what you decide to send: your email address, your name, company and role if you write them, and the content of your message.

Technical data about your visit

Like any website, the server where it is hosted may keep in its logs the IP address, the date and time, the page requested and the type of browser. The hosting provider keeps them, and they serve to make the site work and to detect abuse. Quersen does not use them to find out who you are.

What the site does not do

• It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
• It uses no analytics or advertising tools.
• It loads no scripts, fonts, images or videos from other sites: everything is served from www.quersen.com.
• It builds no profiles and does not combine data from different visits.
• Search works in your browser, over the site’s own content: what you type is not sent anywhere.

What it is used for

The data you send by email is used to answer you, arrange the demonstration you asked for and carry on the sales conversation that results. It is not used for anything else, it is not sold and it is not handed to third parties for commercial purposes. If Quersen later wants to send you other information, it will ask you first.

Who it is shared with

To receive and store your message, Quersen uses an email service (today, Microsoft 365) and, to publish the site, a hosting provider. Both process data on Quersen’s behalf and may do so on servers outside Costa Rica. Beyond them, the data is only handed over if a competent authority requires it under the law.

How long it is kept

Messages are kept for as long as the conversation with Quersen lasts and, afterwards, for the time needed to meet legal obligations or possible claims. If you ask for them to be deleted, they are deleted, except what the law requires to be kept. The server’s technical logs are kept by the hosting provider according to its own schedules.

Your rights

Under Law No. 8968, on the Protection of Individuals regarding the Processing of their Personal Data, of Costa Rica, you can ask at any time to:

• know what data of yours Quersen holds (access);
• correct it if it is wrong (rectification);
• have it deleted (erasure);
• have it stop being used, or withdraw your consent (revocation).

Write to info@quersen.com from the email address the request concerns; the reply comes to that same address. If you believe your data was not handled as it should be, you can turn to the Agencia de Protección de Datos de los Habitantes (Prodhab).

Links to other sites

The footer links to Quersen’s LinkedIn page and its YouTube channel. They are only links: nothing is loaded from those sites until you go to them, and from then on their own policies apply.

Changes to this policy

This policy describes what the site does today. If Quersen adds forms, analytics or other tools, it will update this page before using them and change the date above.
